Description:
Join the growing rank of triathletes from the age of 7 to 70. Even if you've never swum in a lake, ridded a bike more than a few miles, or even run a mile, you can train to complete a triathlon this summer – including the Chicagoland Trek Women's Triathlon, Chicagoland Danskin Women's Triathlon, and Pleasant Prairie and Pleasant Prairie Junior Triathlon, held in Pleasant Prairie. This clinic will teach you what you need to know to get started.
Topics Include:
Basic equipment to participate (Got a swimsuit, a bike, and running shoes? You're pretty much set!); What to wear; Training tips; Training & workout opportunities; Best races for first timers; Overview of the Trek, Danskin and Pleasant Prairie triathlons; Race walkthrough – what to expect.
