RecPlex Group Fitness Classes

Coach Ken Johnson offers the following group fitness classes at the RecPlex, Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.

Training sessions are open to members and non-members of the RecPlex. For more information, contact RecPlex Guest Services at 262-947-0437. All sessions are held at the RecPlex complex unless otherwise noted.

Triathlon Cycling Program
A spin class for triathletes, or anyone who wants to build efficiency and endurance on the bike. This class will focus on specific cycling skill sets including fixed interval sets, ladders, superspins, standing sprints, tempo sets, one-leg spinning drills, and recovery.
Thursday evenings, 7-8pm - class begins Sep 8
Triathlon Swim Clinic
Learn and practice body positioning drills that will enable you to swim efficiently and come out of the water ready for the bike and run. Participants should bring Zoomer type fins to each session. Returning participants will do workouts to reinforce body positioning.
Sunday mornings, 7-8am - class begins Sep 18
Brick (Bike + Run)
Increase your endurance base with this biking and running class. We'll start with a 45-60 minute bike workout, incorporating interval sets, ladders, superspins, tempo sets, one leg spinning drills, and recovery, followed by a individual distance run. This class is designed for both novice and experienced athletes.
