- The Championship consists of the Run for the Turkeys 5K and the Turkey Triathlon, held at the RecPlex in Pleasant Prairie, WI
- You must participate in both races to be eligible for the championship
- Overall male and female winners in each race will be awarded 100 points
- All other participants will be awarded points based on the percentage of the winner's finish compared to their finish, i.e., ((winner finish/athlete finish)*100)
- Championship is awarded based on total points for the two races

Congratulations to Anna Mittermann and Tim Petrie, winners of the 2009 Run with the Turkeys 5K & Turkey Triathlon Combo Championship.
Anna finished with 170.88, and Tim finished with 193.89 points.
In addition to first place finisher plaques, Anna and Tim were awarded two restaurant gift certificates, athletic bag, and other training items.
